Installation

This guide will help you install both premium and free modules from DFreds.

Premium Modules Installation​

Premium modules are available through Foundry VTT's Add-on Modules tab. Follow these steps to get started:

Installation Steps​

  1. Log into your Foundry VTT account
  2. Go to your Edit Profile page
  3. Scroll to the bottom and link your Patreon account
  4. Launch Foundry VTT
  5. Navigate to the Add-on Modules tab
  6. Search for "DFreds" to find and install the premium modules

Troubleshooting Premium Installation​

If you encounter any issues, follow these steps in order:

  1. Verify your subscription status on your Foundry subscriptions page
  2. Try these solutions if you don't see DFreds content:
    • Click the "Refresh" button next to your linked Patreon account
    • Try linking accounts in an incognito/private browser window
    • Unlink and re-link your Patreon account
    • Review Foundry's premium content guide
    • Contact Foundry support if issues persist
    • ForgeVTT: Make sure that both the Forge and Patreon are connected to your FoundryVTT account. If you run into issues, you can contact Forge support

Free Modules Installation​

Free modules can be installed in two ways:

Method 1: Through Foundry VTT​

  1. Open Foundry VTT
  2. Navigate to the Add-on Modules tab
  3. Search for "DFreds"
  4. Install the desired free modules

Method 2: Manual Installation​

  1. Visit the GitHub releases page
  2. Download the latest release of the desired module
  3. Extract the files to your Foundry VTT modules directory OR install via the link to the module.json
